Danyel has been the general manager for the majority of the years that she has been with NW Eye Care professionals. She has used her many years of experience as a certified optician within the practice setting and started as an optician. Her responsibilities include all departments of both the Clackamas and Vancouver locations.

Outside the office, her world revolves around her 2 children: Jeffrey and Izabella. Her favorite activities include: snowboarding, spending time with friends, fast cars, reading, drawing, singing, dancing, traveling, and her dog Klause.

Cheryl has been a vision therapist at NWEC since August of 2001. She uses her college background in art and early childhood education to help provide creativity and development knowledge to her activities. She is a member of the College of Optometrists in Vision Development and has attended conventions and continuing education. She is also involved in Neuro-Optometric Association and continues to study brain research in the area of visual effects and traumatic brain injury.

In her personal life, Cheryl is a very creative individual and has many different abilities. As an artist she has the tremendous ability to see 3 dimensional and creatively. That skill enables her to give insight on all the remodel projects within the office.

She enjoys time spent with family also.

Sharrie has been a part of the NW Eye Care Family as an administrative assistant for 9 years. She enjoys the
many facets of her position and takes every day to learn something new.

In her personal life, she is married and has 2 great children. Her favorite activities revolve around time spent

Jacqui has worked at the Vancouver location with Dr. Bruce's team since 2006. As an enthusiastic former vision therapy patient, she can relate to the challenges and frustrations initially faced by many patients who are referred to us. With practical applications and a down-to-earth approach, Jacqui will keep you informed and in charge every step of the way. Jacqui has also taken the challenge and successfully earned the COVT title.

Jacqui lives in downtown Vancouver and enjoys staying active in her community. When she is not working she might be knitting, hula hooping, practicing yoga, or enjoying coffee with friends

Marilyn is really excited to be a member of the NW Eye Care family. She has been gracing patients with her smile for many years since 2007. Marilyn enjoys patient interaction and likes to exceed all customer service expectations.

When she is not managing the Vancouver location, she enjoys time spent with her family, her horses, and the family camel.

Carol has been a significant part of the NWEC family since 1984. Carol has a Psychology degree from Portland State University. She is a member of the College of Optometrists in Vision Development and the Neuro-Optometric Association. By doing vision therapy she finds purpose and meaning to her own life and those of her patients. Carol continues to learn and apply new brain research as she provides therapy for patients.

In her personal time she enjoys trips to the beach, reading, the outdoors, and time spent with family, friends, and dog.

Jenny has been a vision therapist since May of 2006 and a member of College of Optometrists in Vision Development. She has many years of early childhood education and experience with all ages and that including autism spectrum and traumatic brain injury.

Currently, she is in school with aspirations to become a medical provider. In her very little spare time, she likes to make people laugh, love on all types of animals, and relax with family and friends.

Nicole has been a lab member since 2007. She came to our office with a great back ground in customer service that she wanted to integrate with optical knowledge. She has been learning optics from her other team members and embraces her new career. Nicole is very versed in fashion and will use those skills in your frame selection.

In her personal time she likes to dance, travel and spend time with her daughter.

Lead Optician/Certified Optician

Jennifer, known as “JJ”, has been a certified optician since the 90's and uses those skills everyday within the practice. She has been a lab team member since 2005. JJ likes to take every day as a challenge and see what she can accomplish.

In her personal time she loves to spend time with her daughter, read mystery novels, time with friends, and to catch up with her favorite TV shows.

EHR Custodian

 Lee Recently became a team member in early 2011. He came to our office with a background in customer service and education. He has earned a masters degree in education and even taught in China for 2 years. He utilizes those skills to communicate effectively with the NW Eye Care family.

 In his personal time he enjoys attending Blazer games, reading science fiction, boogie boarding at the coast and spending time with family and friends.

Billing Receptionist

Crystal joined our office at the end of 2010. She has held a variety of medical front office positions and uses her experience to serve our patients in many ways. She is enjoying learning new things about the eyes and has benefited from participating in the vision therapy program.

In her personal time, she is a mother of 2 girls and enjoys spending time with her family, playing her piano, gardening, dancing and making new friends.

Morgan has come to us from Eugene as a graduate of the University of Oregon. She is learning a lot within our practice and tries to incorporate her knowledge from school to give patients the best care possible.

Contact Lens Tech/Optometric Tech

Bobbie has been with NW Eye Care since the beginning of 2011. Her previous background of years in the optical field has benefited our office greatly. Bobbie is a trained technician and maintains our contact lens area. Her days are filled with various patients in many different areas of the office which she enjoys tremendously.

Outside of the office Bobbie likes to spend time with friends and family.

Carole

Vision Therapist

Carole has been a member of the Vancouver Vision Therapy team since early 2011. Her background in education and psychology give her an insight to the struggles of both young patients and those with brain injury. She enjoys the one on one atmosphere of therapy sessions and being able to watch patient's success in the therapy room transfer to everyday life.

Away from the office, Carole enjoys spending time with her young son as well as hiking, camping and trips to the mountains and coast.
